Global Partner Organization (GPO) - Digital Transformation & IoT

As Senior Executive of Cisco's Global Partner Organization, Andres Sintes is responsible for our Partner Sales & GTM Strategy across all Industry verticals, inclusive of the Partners’ capability and profitability growth in support of capturing the opportunity in our customers’ Digital Transformation. Andres is chartered with accelerating the success of Cisco's Business Outcome Solutions in support of our Customers’ Digitization Journey via a best-in-class network of Channel & ecosystem Partners globally.

Most recently Andres led the evolution of our IT Channel to support the accelerated growth of our IoT opportunity growing our Channel capacity to over 200 IoT Specialized Channel Partners globally in less than 12 months; as well as the build-out of a new OT Channel of +50 OT Channel Partners that are now actively engaged, invested and complementing Cisco’s ability to penetrate new Industries and LOBs.

In 2013, “Networking Products Guide” magazine recognized Andres as Partner Programs Channel Executive of the year.

Andres’ career at Cisco began in 1998 as an Account Manager driving sales growth for Cisco Mexico’s Midmarket segment. Later as Senior Manager for Americas International, Andres’ charter expanded to accelerating market penetration in the Midmarket segments throughout Latin America and Canada. Andres established a highly scalable and collaborative partner-led sales model inclusive of Virtual Sales, Field Sales, our Partner Ecosystem, and Marketing.

In 2005 Andres embarked on a 3 year Expatriate assignment in Singapore as Sales Director for Asia Pacific & Japan responsible for establishing a growth engine to capture new market share across the Commercial segment throughout the region. In less than 3 years, he successfully built and led a new sales team of 200+ sales account managers with net new incremental revenue growth well over US$500 million.

Upon returning to the US, Andres assumed global leadership of Cisco’s Learning Partner Channel (training focused partners). He successfully evolved and transformed the capability and strategic relevancy of Cisco's Learning Partners while establishing them as key drivers to scale sales & technical enablement in support of accelerating the success of Cisco’s Architectures & Solutions.

Andres holds a Bachelor in Business Administration with a Major in Marketing and a Minor in Economics from the University of Florida. He lives in Miami, Florida with his wife Laura and his 3 children Nicolas, Daniel, and Victoria. During his leisure time Andres enjoys boating and water-sports while spending quality time with his wife and kids.
