Andreu Vilamitjana appointed as new General Manager of Cisco Spain

Madrid, March 8, 2019. – Cisco today announced the appointment of Andreu Vilamitjana as General Manager of Cisco Spain. Starting this Monday, he will be heading the Spanish Country Board, being responsible for all Cisco activities in the country. 

In his new role, Andreu will be responsible for bringing together all Cisco areas, technological solutions, and partner ecosystems to help organizations succeed by adopting intelligent and highly secure digital platforms.

Engineer in Electronics by Ramón Llull-La Salle University, MBA by ESADE, and graduated in the Advanced Management Program of INSEAD, Andreu holds more than 25 years of experience in the ICT sector. He was previously Global Vice President, Vertical Markets at Sage, and Managing Director for the SMB and Start Up businesses in Sage Spain.

Previously, Andreu served as Sales General Manager of T-Systems Iberia and Head of Major Accounts and Public Administrations at Orange, in addition to working at Siemens and Lotus (now part of IBM).
