Uwe Peter appointed as new General Manager of Cisco Germany

Munich/Berlin, 31 January 2019 –Cisco announces the appointment of Uwe Peter as General Manager of Cisco Germany. As Vice President and Chairman of the German Country Board, he is responsible for all Cisco activities in Germany. 

In his new role Uwe will be responsible for bringing together Cisco teams, technology and partner ecosystems to help create highly secure, intelligent platforms for digital business in the region.

Uwe Peter was previously Managing Director Deutsche Telekom and Service Provider North Europe. Before that, he served as Managing Director for global strategic accounts in Germany. He has been on the Management Board of Cisco Germany since 2005.

Uwe Peter succeeds Oliver Tuszik, who now runs Cisco’s Global Partner Organization and is based in San Jose.
