Roger is an industry veteran with more than 15 years in the digital media industry. He is responsible for the the development and execution of the global go-to-market, sales, business development and partnership strategy for the Media & Entertainment vertical at Cisco.

Roger’s experience in the digital media, software and telecommunications sectors has been with a focus on sales, relationship building and international business development for rapidly growing organizations. Roger joined Cisco through the acquisition of ExtendMedia, a software-based digital video content management system (now sold as Cisco Media Suite), where he served as GM of EMEA. Previously, Roger served as Vice President of Global Services at ARRIS, Inc. There he led ARRIS’s consolidated technical support team responsible for the worldwide delivery, deployment, and support of the company’s multiple On Demand and OSS product lines.

He joined ARRIS through the company’s acquisition of C-COR. At C-COR Sherwood served as C-COR's director of customer solutions, EMEA and AsiaPac, where he helped spearhead international pre-sales and delivery of the company's network management systems. He has also held management roles at Amdocs, Nortel and Sigma-Systems.

Roger holds a bachelor’s in electrical and electronics engineering from Nottingham Trent University in the UK.
