Rob Brothers

Rob Brothers is a Program Vice President for IDC's Software and Hardware Support and Deployment Services program, and a regular contributor to the research practice for Infrastructure Services: Transforming the Datacenter.

He focuses on worldwide support and deployment services for hardware and software, and provides expert insight and intelligence on how enterprises should be addressing key areas for datacenter transformation. IT hardware services covered include IoT devices, converged infrastructures, storage, servers, client devices, networking equipment, and peripherals. Software covered includes software defined infrastructures, cloud support, operating systems, databases, applications, and system software.

Mr. Brothers draws on decades of industry experience to provide insights and actionable advice to assist vendors in developing, marketing, and delivering IT services. His areas of expertise include, but are not limited to, enterprise storage, server, networking, client device and high-availability and mission-critical support services, virtualization and transformational services and channel and partnering strategies.
