Brent is a Practice Advisor – Insurance on the Financial Services Business Transformation Sales Team. Responsible to identify, qualify and lead consultative selling engagements in targeted customer accounts located in the Midwest.
His experience includes 25+ years in Consulting, IT and Telecommunications, with 10+ years of sales and consulting with Property & Casualty and Life & Health insurance companies. This includes time most recently as Vice-President with a Global Telematics Service provider working with companies such as State Farm, American Family, Travelers and Country Financial. Brent was also with Sprint Corporation where he was Regional Manager in their Machine to Machine organization consulting with the Insurance Vertical in the U.S. He also held the management role of Client Executive – Vertical Specialist Insurance for State Farm and American Family, where he consulted and managed two virtual teams. Areas of focus include insurance strategy and business transformation, claims operating model re-engineering, telematics and connected life initiatives, and business case and statement of work development.
Brent has written white papers on Usage-Based Insurance and the developing use of telematics by the insurance industry. Brent has been in corporate america for 25+ years and currently serves on the Information Technology board of Illinois State University. Past service and charity organizations include March of Dimes, Junior Achievement, Inroads and Habitat for Humanity.
Brent has a B.S in Quantitative Business Analysis, with a minor in Computer Science from Indiana University – Bloomington, IN. He and his wife Shelley live in Bloomington, IL with their son Bryson (7). Personal interests away from working with his clients are supporting Bryson’s sports and activities, reading and travel.
