Cisco, the worldwide leader in security and networking, has appointed Gordon Thomson as President of Cisco Europe, Middle East, and Africa (EMEA), effective Monday, July 28, 2025. He will report to Oliver Tuszik, Executive Vice President of Global Sales and Chief Sales Officer.   

Gordon has spent 27 years with Cisco, with 22 of them in roles across EMEA. Most recently he held the position of Senior Vice President, Service Provider, EMEA, driving growth by focusing on customer demand for next-gen networking and cloud solutions.   

Organizations across EMEA are rapidly evolving as they increasingly embrace AI to drive new levels of productivity. They want enhanced control over their digital infrastructure and data, and Cisco is providing solutions that align with their values and regional requirements. 

Gordon’s extensive experience, deep knowledge of Cisco solutions and close strategic relationships with customers and partners across EMEA means he is the ideal person to unlock new levels of digital transformation across the region.
