LISBON, Portugal – February 28, 2019. – Cisco today announced that it will expand its business support capabilities in Europe, Middle East, Africa and Russia (EMEAR) with a new Customer Experience (CX) center in Lisbon. Together with the Brussels and Krakow locations, the Lisbon center will deliver best-in-class technical, network management, and optimization services throughout EMEAR.
The new center reinforces Cisco’s commitment to Portugal, a country with a robust and diverse talent pool. Both experienced engineers and new graduates will find opportunities to serve customers across planning, design, implementation, optimization, and technical support. Hiring begins in late February with a focus on experts in security, enterprise networking, and data center.
Customers across EMEAR and all over the world are accelerating digitization in all sectors. The Lisbon center will serve customers and partners as they deploy the latest Cisco technologies as a foundation for this digital transformation, helping them get the most value from these technology solutions.
The Lisbon center also reinforces Cisco’s commitment to helping Portugal realize its digital potential. Portugal is part of the Cisco Country Digital Acceleration (CDA) program and a strong innovation and entrepreneurship hub in Europe. The positive approach of the Portuguese Government towards knowledge-based investments, along with the quality of Portugal’s universities, robust workforce, and entrepreneurial ecosystem, factored into the decision to open the Lisbon center.
