Happy New Year and welcome to our first #SocialRoundup. In this new blog series, we will be bringing you more highlights on our social media efforts and best practices. Here’s a recap on what you might have missed since the start of the New Year. Feel free to give us feedback on whether the information is useful.

Cisco at the Consumer Electronics Show (CES)

At this year’s Consumer Electronics Show (CES) in Las Vegas, we developed several creative social assets during show week that helped tell our service provider story and highlight our participation in various conference events. Some of my favorites include an Instagram teaser video and promoting our campaign hashtag, #VideoInCloud, via airplane skywriting over the event center! Check out some of the great work below:

Webcast: Is Your Data Center Ready for the Application Economy?

To drive awareness around the #CiscoACI webcast, we developed a social sharing graphic and delivered photos of the webcast in real-time via the Cisco Data Center Facebook Page and Twitter feed. We also boosted some Facebook posts to our Facebook followers the week before the event, which drove increased engagement with current page fans and significantly increased registrations for the event.

Cisco at NRF 2015: Winning the New Digital Consumer with Hyper-Relevance

Cisco had a large presence at the National Retail Federation’s (NRF) largest show of the year. This year we made a bigger impact through our social activities. Our social channels saw an influx of streaming rich content: a whitepaper, an Internet of Everything (IoE) in Retail video series featuring industry experts, blogs and a SlideShare. Check out some of the assets below:

The Internet of Everything Make “Lasts” A Reality

It seems fitting to save this social campaign for last. To celebrate Cisco’s 30th anniversary and kick off our new advertising campaign for the Internet of Everything, we’ve developed several pieces of content, across different platforms, to share how the Internet of Everything will enable a world filled with Lasts – the last traffic jam, the last checkout line and even, the last blackout. Here’s a 30-second video on the last traffic jam:
