As I explained last month, we’ve put together a series of vlogs on Cisco’s hottest offerings. We call the series The Fast Five, and it has been especially developed for our distributors and 2-tier partners. In a few minutes, you will learn how to position our innovation to your customers, what programs you can access from Cisco, and where to find resources. Last month, I introduced The Fast Five for SD-WAN, and today we’re talking about the Catalyst 9200.

Watch this short videoand you’ll learn more about the Fast Five and how to take advantage of the Catalyst 9200 opportunity. You will also learn how your business goals, and your customers’ business goals, will be accelerated with Cisco Catalyst 9200.

The opportunity here is $11B in switching refresh in FY18. The Catalyst 9000 series is the next generation of switching, featuring better automation, assurance, and security, dramatically reducing operational costs and simplifying network management.  And of course, foundational to all of this is that it’s simply a better performing switch!

The next gen Catalyst not only represents a refresh opportunity for legacy switches, but also an upsell opportunity within the customer account. The target ‘sweet spot’ for the new Catalyst switches are accounts that have purchased CAT2960, C3650, C3750E and C4500 series over the last 5-7 years.

Cisco builds quality products, so some customers may not want to replace these switches today, but for businesses that are growing (e.g., branch expansion), they will want access to the latest in technology to ensure investment protection going forward. Make sure you are having these conversations with your customers.

How do you start the conversation with your customers? Watch the video, and in a few minutes, you will be ready to meet with your customers and take advantage of the resources Cisco has to help you.

I sat down with Nirav Sheth, Vice President of Architectures and Engineering in the Cisco Global Partner Organization. We laid out all you need to know to get started selling the Catalyst 9200 and put your customers on the road to intent-based networking. I encourage you to take a few minutes to watch this installment of the Fast Five vlog series.

Once you have a handle on the key items you need to know to boost your revenues with the Catalyst 9200, here are the links that will help you follow up on this great opportunity:

Finally, tune in for more. We have additional Fast Five coming up. The next one will cover the hot market of hyper convergence with HyperFlex Anywhere. And if you missed my blog on Five Easy Steps to selling SD-WAN, catch it now.

In the comments section below, please let me know what you think. I look forward to hearing your feedback and to bringing you the next vlog!
