I hope everyone is getting excited to take the Journey to the Sunshine State and have packed a few sets of mouse ears. A quick blog post this week as I have already run out of puns. I’d like to encourage you all to check out our Application Visibility and Control (AVC) partners at Cisco Live Orlando! There are three that I’d love to highlight.
InfoVista will be showing off their Application Visibility Solution in the Cisco Partner Pavilion and theater, ActionPacked! Networks has a very special announcement about LiveAction and can be found in booth 201, and Plixer’s Netflow Knights will highlight their full range of netflow support in booth 747 and our Partner Pavilion – and even has a rap video, or so I’ve been told. I can’t wait to see in person what our customers think about our partners’ technologies. Also, come take a look at what Cisco has hidden beneath our huge plastic ears
- We have a dozen sessions on AVC
- Come see us in the Flagship Cisco Enterprise Booth, number 767, where we will highlight
- Application Visibility and Control and WAAS for BYOD
- Performance Based Routing & WAN Diversity
- Application Visibility and Control Across the Campus (Wired, Wireless, Routing)
- Medianet
Today I once again invite Chris Cullan from InfoVista to share a few words on why InfoVista is betting big on Application Visibility and Control, and what it means to you and your customers.
Christopher Cullan, Product Marketing Manager, Business Services Solutions, InfoVista Next week, I have the opportunity to help fuel a very important ongoing discussion about application performance visibility and its value to both communications service providers (CSPs) and their enterprise-level customers. This is something you can see me discuss in the video below, taken at TM Forum’s Management World 2013 in Nice, France.

We’ll continue to explore this topic in my presentation of InfoVista’s Application Visibility Services (AVS) solution at Cisco LIVE! in Orlando, Florida, from June 23rd to the 27th. The event will serve as the perfect platform to show how real-world customers are realizing value from AVS, and how our collaboration with Cisco has made this possible.
Cloud computing is quickly becoming a staple of the enterprise world as companies look for the agility necessary for continued growth. And with more and more applications being hosted in the cloud, CSPs have the opportunity to significantly increase the value of their business services by offering unparalleled application performance visibility.
In doing so, CSPs enable their customers to accurately monitor application usage and performance data and prioritize quality of service accordingly. This leads to improved performance and more effective financial governance — a win-win for CSPs and business services customers.
For these reasons, InfoVista recently launched its AVS solution, which not only supports Cisco Application Visibility & Control, but is also the first of its kind to receive Cisco’s Interoperability Verification Test certification. I hope you can join us in Orlando to see our full presentation. In the meantime, also check out our recent joint InfoVista-Cisco webinar, “How to Increase Business Services Revenue for CSPs with Application Visibility.”
