Vikas partners closely with leading customers and integrators as they transform from product to digital business leveraging IoT technologies. Vikas has global responsibility for Product Strategy and roadmap for Cisco's IoT portfolio including Edge Compute with Kinetic, Control Center (an IoT Connection Management Platform), Industrial IoT Networking and Security. Vikas manages a global team of Product Managers, Technical Marketing and Business Development who have enabled 50,000 successful customer deployments.

Vikas has held leadership positions in Cisco with broad product portfolio responsibilities including in Cisco’s Enterprise and Service Provider products and solutions, like Voice, Video, Wireless, and Routing. In addition, Vikas has led Product and Business Development teams at startups like MobileIron, and Accelera Mobile Broadband.

Vikas earned his M.S. in Electrical Engineering focusing on Optical and Data Communications from Virginia Tech in Blacksburg, VA.
