Scott leads a team of world-class systems engineers and architects supporting customers across a broad spectrum of industry verticals (public sector, education, financial services, commercial) in New Zealand.

Most recently Scott has focused on enterprise networking architecture and solutions, having delved into both security and collaboration in prior roles. He has been with Cisco for 19 years, working closely with customers and partners to design large-scale converged network solutions. Scott is based in Wellington, New Zealand, having started his journey with Cisco in Canberra, Australia.

Scott has over 25 years’ experience as an IT professional in both Australia and New Zealand, long enough to have both accumulated a few grey hairs and still be able to remember coax Ethernet cables and the early days of VoIP when music-on-hold was a keenly awaited feature.

He has presented numerous times at Cisco Live, Networkers and national road shows and has been awarded as a Cisco Live Distinguished Speaker for three consecutive years.

Scott holds an honours degree in electrical and electronic engineering from the University of Canterbury, New Zealand.
