Editor in Chief for the regional newsroom in Asia Pacific, Japan and China for the Cisco Marketing & Communications team, based out of Singapore. Having grown up in Asia, I’m a Dutchie living and working in Singapore since 2014 with my husband and two daughters.
Although I am originally Dutch, I saw much of Asia as a kid, growing up in Jakarta (Indonesia). After earning a BA in Media & Communications and a MA in English in the Netherlands, I worked in Corporate Communications in finance for most of my career. My true love is language and writing – both print and online media.
In 2014, my husband and I packed up our stuff, family and lives, and moved to Singapore with no jobs but lots of hope. Fortunately, I landed well at Cisco and have been part of the APJC Marketing & Communications team ever since.
