Global Private Sector Industries Marketing

Chet leads Cisco’s Global Private Sector Industries Marketing team with the mission to accelerate digital business transformation for customers within the Manufacturing, Energy, Financial Services, Retail, Hospitality, and Sports and Entertainment industries. As Senior Director, he is responsible for industry strategy, market development, and content marketing that bridge IT and networking capabilities for new digital business models and value propositions focused on customers’ lines of business.

Chet brings nearly three decades of cross-functional, multi-industry experience, leadership and expertise to this role. Before joining Cisco in 2007, he was Global Director of Industry Marketing at General Electric. Over 15 years he served several different business entities at GE, leading results for both bottom-line profitability and top-line growth.

Chet earned a mechanical engineering Bachelor of Science degree summa cum laude from Clemson University and a Master of Science degree from Virginia Tech. He is married with three children and lives in the Research Triangle area of NC.
