Wes Sylvester leads Cisco Systems’ global Manufacturing, Energy and Industrials practice. In this role, he is responsible for industry direction, vision, messaging, and growth.
Wes’ team works with Cisco’s manufacturing, utility, oil & gas and mining customers across the world to establish business case, architecture and integrated communications network strategies for a variety of operational investments.
Wes has over 15 years of focused experience leading and building global marketing and sales teams at the director and VP level for major industry players including Cooper/Eaton, Siemens, and Philips/Signify.
Wes holds a BS in Mechanical Engineering from MSOE in Milwaukee, and a MBA from the University of North Carolina Kenan-Flagler Business School, with a concentration in Strategy and Leadership.
Wes and his family love living in Seattle, where you’re likely to find him on a hiking trail in his free time.
