Simon Young

Simon Young is the General Manager for Global Industry Partners across the Asia Pacific, Japan and Greater China (APJC)region. Simon is responsible for helping partners define and deliver new digital businesses through innovative go-to-market models and technology engagement strategies. By leveraging deep industry expertise and Cisco’s digital transformation platform, Simon empowers partners to navigate complexity and seize the opportunities of tomorrow, proving that when we connect the previously unconnected, we don't just solve problems—we build the future of industry together. Simon has led transformational initiatives across various sales and engineering roles during his 22 years with Cisco including creating and leading the Internet of Things (IoT) business across Australia and New Zealand. Previously, he had also led the Connected Energy and Resources team and spent time developing solutions for the Service Provider market. In addition to his role at Cisco, he serves as an Adjunct Professor at La Trobe University, Melbourne in the School of Computing, Engineering and Mathematical Sciences, where he bridges the gap between academic research and technological evolution.
