Kaustubh Das

Kaustubh Das, or KD, is Cisco’s Senior Vice President and General Manager of Cloud and Compute. As a member of Cisco’s senior leadership team, he is responsible for defining and growing Cisco’s multi-billion-dollar hybrid cloud and cloud native product portfolios, driving innovation and entry into new markets, and incubating and scaling new businesses to profitable, sustainable growth. KD is a technology visionary and transformation expert whose mission is to help enterprise customers harness the full potential of the hybrid, multi-cloud world. His team, made up of the best and brightest talent in the technology industry, is building world-class platforms that deliver customer-proven automation, observability and cloud native capabilities to market at unprecedented speed and scale. KD joined Cisco from Seagate, where he served as Vice President, Product Line Management for the company’s enterprise segment - including P/L ownership for a ~$4B business focusing on Data Centers and Cloud Service Providers. Prior to that, Kaustubh led Seagate's product management teams in the Systems Division, including product lines in storage systems, storage-aaS offerings, and high-performance computing. Earlier in his career, KD worked for McKinsey & Company, Intel, Schlumberger and Motorola. He holds 5 patents where he is listed as the lead inventor, holds an MBA from The Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania, a master’s degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the University of Texas at Austin, and a bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science from the Indian Institute of Technology Delhi. Based in the Bay Area, KD is an advocate for women in technology and a champion for diversity and inclusion.
