Alon Peleg

Alon is a general manager of the SON Business Unit, Mobile Business Group at Cisco Systems. In this role, he leads the strategy, engineering, development, and product management teams.

Alon is an experienced, dynamic leader with over 20 years directing engineering development of high-quality products in highly competitive technology markets for startups, as well as Fortune 500 industry leaders. Gaining a unique experience, in leading organizations through strategic and cultural changes. Recognized for the ability of building up and scaling capabilities in new, startup like, domains with exceptional records of inspiring people.

The SON team has been continuously recognized for developing innovative product capabilities, from machine learning to modular micro services open platform, user experience optimization all of those put Cisco SON as the a leading technology in the RAN automation market.

Alon has an engineering degree from the Israeli Technion, one of the world most prestigious technical universities. He also has his MBA and has completed the Harvard Program for negotiation.

When Alon isn’t traveling for business, he spends time with his wife, his three kids, 2 dogs, 3 parrots and the old cat.
