Alison Gleeson

Alison Gleeson is Senior Vice President of the Americas, the largest of Cisco’s four geographic regions, responsible for more than $25 billion in annual sales for the company. In her role, Ms. Gleeson leads more than 8,700 employees across 46 countries and five theaters. These theaters include Canada, Latin America, US Commercial, US Public Sector, as well as the Global Enterprise Segment which includes Cisco’s top 28 customers. In her global-reaching role, Ms. Gleeson is a highly-regarded international speaker about the drivers for digital disruption across industries, the role of technology in enabling business transformation, and empowering women in technology.

In Ms. Gleeson’s 20 years at Cisco she has led several top-performing organizations, most recently with the US Commercial Sales team where she revamped the entire Commercial go- to- market strategy and drove consistent year-over-year growth. During her five years, she was instrumental in developing new approaches to capture critical market transitions, strengthening relationships with some of Cisco’s most important partners, and driving technology adoption with “first mover” mid-market customers.

Ms. Gleeson now serves as an advisor to the Commercial business at Cisco on a global scale, working to ensure consistent execution across the geographic regions, as well as developing a set of consistent processes, programs, and roles to increase growth potential for the company.

Ms. Gleeson is a highly respected leader who maintains a commitment to professional development and inclusion and diversity in the workplace. She is a women’s advocate and has held multiple board positions in support of these initiatives, including her current position as Global Executive Sponsor and Global Board President of Cisco’s Connected Women’s Network.

Ms. Gleeson holds a bachelor’s degree in marketing and finance from Michigan State University.
