Every organisation has something valuable to protect and adversaries who want to get their hands on it. The challenge is that the struggle between the relentless attackers and the tireless defenders does not always seem to be evenly balanced.
Attackers have unlimited resources and an unlimited number of tries to conduct attacks. They only need one to succeed to get what they want. The defenders, on the other hand, have limited time and resources and need to have complete visibility of their infrastructure and data and the potential ways in. It does not seem to be a comfortable equation, especially as criminals tend to be much more agile than their targets.
There is a huge incentive for companies to change the equation as cybersecurity done well can become a key driver for business. In just three years, an estimated 50 billion new devices will be connected presenting companies with a significant opportunity, if they can seize this digital revolution with a holistic approach to cybersecurity.
The goal for business should be to see threat once, and block it everywhere so they can capture opportunities ahead with the confidence that they are secure.
With this in mind, we have decided to do something different this year at Cisco Live in Barcelona. We have put together a compelling 2-day agenda to discuss with our customers their security challenges and priorities and we are offering no charge access to Cisco Live to attend these two days.
We will share the very latest threat intelligence information and demonstrate how we can help our customers stop more threats, respond faster and use automation to bolster the effectiveness of their security posture. Companies such as the John Lewis Partnership, NHL University, JN Data and Irdeto will be sharing their experiences.
