This week we’re in New York for Interop – one of those fun gatherings of networking folks – and below I’ve outlined some of the events you won’t want to miss:
Tuesday Oct 1
10:00am – 11:00am – Cisco to participate in the Tech Field Day Roundtable!!!1 We’ll be doing a deep-dive on some of our neatest technology and, given the TFD delegates, it should be quite a discussion. You can watch live: http://techfieldday.com/event/riny13/ … live-tweeting from @CiscoEnterprise
11:15am – 12:00pm – Faraz Aladin -Director, Technical Marketing- Enterprise Networking – will be giving a talk in the Mobility and BYOD workshop – room 1E08. @Cisco_Mobility will be live-tweeting.
Wednesday Oct 2
10:15am – 10:45am – Cisco CEO John Chambers will be giving a keynote, Driving IT Transformation, Creating New Opportunities for which we created a beautiful, inspirational video:
The keynotes for Interop will be broadcast live to Interop’s video page.
11:00am – 5:00pm The expo hall will be open and Cisco has booth 409. Please stop by to check out some demonstrations, listen to a few speaking sessions, and take the Cisco Ent App challenges. Also, want to be in one of my videos? LMK!
1:45pm – 2:30pm Chris Spain, VP, Product Management, will be a co-host for the CIO Roundtable talk, Unify Your Networks for the Mobile Enterprise.
2:30pm – 3:15pm Jim Robshaw, Sr. Director, Cisco IT – U.S. & Canada will be on a CIO panel, Building The Next-Gen “Innovation” Organization – room 1E16
2:45pm – 3:45pm Bob Friday, VP/CTO, Wireless Networking Business Unit Network Services Technology Group will lead a breakout session, The Mobile Advantage: Making Your Mobile Network a Strategic Asset to Your Business – room 1E14
4:00pm – 5:00pm Bill Gerhardt, Director/GM Service Provider Vertical Internet of Things (IoT) BU will participate in a panel, Mobility and the Emerging Internet of Things (IoT) – room 1E08
If all of that isn’t enough, there is a booth crawl scheduled 3:30pm – 5:00pm.
Thursday Oct 3
