From dynamic signage to mobile innovations, to virtual reality and artificial intelligence enabled interactions, and now IoT; technology trends continue to reshape consumer and fan behaviors. Today it isn’t enough for fans to go to the game. They want an unforgettable game-day experience, from the moment they purchase their ticket, to the time the event is over. They want to be engaged and connected to every aspect of the game, including keeping up with their favorite players’ stats, friends and family, and their social media channels. And fans around the world want to be connected at all times, via various forms of unique content and brand engagement opportunities. Because of this, it’s become vital for teams and leagues to deliver these experiences, or risk losing digital consumers.
