It’s our third year at Web Summit and our small (but mighty) Cisco DevNet team is more excited than ever to meet you. Not only are we part of an even larger Cisco booth this year, we also have new activities, announcements, and we are excited to explore opportunities together. So why should you come see us at booth E183?

Come visit us to learn how:

  • Students can explore career opportunities, learning paths, and new DevNet Certifications
  • Startups can find in-country support and learn how to engage with Cisco partners
  • Entrepreneurs can find ways to close the gap between their ideas and real business solutions
  • Developers can see real life examples of how partners are using Cisco APIs in their solutions

Cisco DevNet Highlights

Mini-Theater sessions and workshopsfind the full schedule.
Here’s a sample of what we’re offering throughout the week:

  • Not sure what Cisco DevNet is or what we offer? We can answer that and we can help you get started with our free dev tools, learning labs, automation exchange (think shared code repositories!), ecosystem exchange, and more. Listen in and learn how to get started in these 15-20 minute overview sessions.
  • Heard about Design Thinking and want to try it for yourself? Our experts are offering 2 hands-on workshops daily, each 1-hour long. These are not boring, sit-around-and-listen sessions, you will be an active participant solving problems and walking away with valuable skills that you can use right away.
  • Looking to take your software skills to the next level? Our Cisco certification and training program now includes DevNet certifications designed for both the network professional and software developer to optimize and write applications that leverage the full capabilities of the network, and it helps build IT teams with software skills and expertise. Learn about DevNet Certifications, Cisco NetAcad & more. Join us for these 15-20 minute overview sessions taking place during the week.
  • Did someone say raffle? That’s right, I did – come join us for in-booth session raffles.

Technical Session Wednesday

  • For those of you that want to dive deeper into DevNet, we have 3, 1-hour sessions in a larger classroom focused on: Efficient Network Monitoring with Webhooks, Edge Computing Done by your Network, and an Introduction to Cisco DevNet for Developers, Startups and Students.

Devvie’s Backpack Challenge

  • Let’s have some fun! Grab the DevNet backpack and guess how much you think it weighs. One winner per day, closest guess without going over wins the backpack and goodies inside. One winner each day, rules apply.

Play DevNet Trivia & Win

  • We know there’s a lot happening at the event but we know not everyone can make it. We want to test your knowledge and have fun! Playing is easy – answer 2 questions and be entered to win a fun prize, from us to you.
