Magical Moments for Webex Rooms at ISE 2020

Last week, my team and I found ourselves at ISE 2020 in the beautiful city of Amsterdam, interacting and making deeper connections with our customers and partners. We showcased some of our amazing innovations and had a lot of fantastic eye-opening conversations. It is safe to say that there was no shortage of magical moments!

The Magic of Webex Rooms

To begin, I am so proud to announce that our booth was a Top 40 finalist out of 1,300 exhibitors of the Integrated Systems EuropeStand Design Awards!

There was a constant flow of traffic, with over 500 visitors checking out our booth! Our Webex Rooms covered every collaboration scenario – from the huddle space to the board room. The star of the show was the new Webex Room Panorama where we held live demos with the Oslo crew on the far end. The room was full of excitement as people experienced how the Room Panorama delivers the authentic feeling of being in the same room despite being 100’s of miles apart!

Another favorite was our interactive “Spin-it-to-Win-it” game where 7 customers and partners got lucky and won their own instant office – aka the new Webex Desk Pro. You read that right! From the Desk Pro, a huge line of people was able to spin our very own slot machine to win. One after another walked up to the app called Spin it to Win it in hopes of going home with a Desk Pro – just another example of Webex Rooms not only being business but fun. Our engineers developed the game in-house as an example of the Desk Pro’s flexibility and the art of the possible. It’s truly an instant office that does much more than your average desktop video. We also handed out 18 Cisco 730 headsets and plenty of Cisco socks. For those of you that didn’t win – fear not, the Webex Desk Pro is now orderable.

There’s nothing more magical than when people come together and share their experiences. Given the excitement around Webex Rooms, we were able to provide private booth tours. It was so successful that we provided over 100 tours! Here, we talked about all things workplace transformation, and how Webex Rooms are empowering teams to get stuff done.

Future of Work. On Display

One of the highlights was the Happy Hour event with our partner Samsung and around 100 attendees to discuss the FUTURE OF WORK – ON DISPLAY. We welcomed analysts, press, and partners to meet with our experts and learn first-hand how the digitization of content combined with employee experience and collaboration is contributing to workplace transformation. This partnership is truly a game-changer as we’re empowering teams to get stuff done by taking Samsung’s expertise in visual display solutions and Cisco’s first-class video and collaboration solutions to reduce multi-vendor friction and deliver an unrivaled collaboration and co-creation experience.

Partner Appreciation Event

We really appreciate our partners. And to show them how much we value them; we hosted a partner appreciation event. Cisco partners joined us for a unique evening that included floating on the beautiful canals of Amsterdam, food, drinks, and a lot of fun at the Youseum, an immersive pop-up art experience that puts you at the center of the exhibition. We had a great time!

All in all, spending a few days in the beautiful city of Amsterdam, showcasing our collaboration technologies and interacting with our partners and customers has left me invigorated and inspired to keep changing how the world works.

The world works better face-to-face. And when you have long days on booth-duty, the world sure works a whole lot better when caffeinated.
