Todd Nightingale

Cisco Meraki

Todd Nightingale has 15 years of experience leading technology groups in networking and wireless. Todd currently manages the Strategy and Solution Architecture teams at Cisco's Cloud Networking Group (formerly Meraki), where he leads enterprise field strategy and systems engineering.

Before joining Meraki, he was the General Manager for Motorola AirDefense Solutions where he managed all day-to-day operations of the AirDefense business building innovative technology for the Enterprise/Retail vertical. At AirDefense Inc., as the VP, Engineering Todd was responsible for all product line development and led the group through a successful cash acquisition by Motorola.

In the past, Todd has worked in silicon development, academic research groups, and network protocol development. As the Director of Software Engineering at Engim Inc. he architected and implemented a multi-channel software based 802.11 MAC. Prior to Engim he held a variety of research, development and teaching positions at MIT’s Laboratory for Computer Science, MIT’s Media Lab, Motorola, and ArsDigita Inc.

Todd has led successful teams developing embedded, application and cloud software products including networking and wireless infrastructure products, IDS/IPS systems, spectrum analysis, 802.11 security, monitoring and manufacturing applications.

Todd received his S.B. and MEng. degrees in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
