Satya has been with Cisco for 14 years. Worked with VoIP, IOS Routing/Switching, Advance Services and Security Business Unit as a dev-test engineer, team lead and manager. Was one of the first few engineers to work on High Availability and PSIRTS when these were introduced.
As a Advance services manager, Satya managed 24x7 global operations, support, documentation teams.
Currently part of the Security Business Unit, managing the Customer Scenario test team for ASA and SourceFire (NGFW, NGIPS) Products and releases.Satya is Passionate about STEM programs for women and giving back in any shape or form ! She is the New England Chapter Lead for Women In Science and Engineering (WISE) ERO in Cisco and is active participant for Cisco Wide Women programs like Connected Women, Women in Cyber Security . She loves to spend time with her family , traveling, dancing and cooking - you may see her on one of the chopped episodes - look out !
