Ruben Lobo is a Product Manager in the IoT Industrial Networking group at Cisco.
Having spent several years working on communication systems for Substation Automation and designing transport models for monitoring, control, and protection power applications over wide area networks, he is currently focused on developing products that bridge the divide between industrial automation and industrial networks to help customers easily adapt modern communication technologies.
Prior to working in the IoT space, Ruben has held various engineering positions in the area of systems development at Cisco, working on designing network architectures for Wireline and Mobile Service Providers.
Ruben Lobo has a Ph.D. in computer engineering from North Carolina State University.
