Pat Mitchell is a Vertical Solutions Architect (VSA) for the Manufacturing and Energy vertical in Cisco's Business Transformation organization.  Mitchell is responsible for engaging and growing relationships with key manufacturing and supply chain customers, building transformational business solutions and expanding Cisco’s capabilities within the manufacturing and supply chain industries.  Mitchell appreciates the business challenges facing manufacturing and supply chain executives today and understands how Cisco solutions can help address those challenges.

Prior to this role, Mitchell spent 10 years in Cisco's supply chain organization managing several process teams and business transformation initiatives.   In those roles, he helped shape Cisco’s strategy related to Product Lifecycle Management, Solutions Delivery, Order Management, Environmental and Trade Compliance and Emerging Markets.  Before joining Cisco, Mitchell held several management positions in the discrete manufacturing industry related to Design, Assembly, Integration and Test, Systems engineering, Finance and Quality Management.

Pat earned both his BS Mechanical Engineering and his MBA from Santa Clara University and resides in San Jose.  When not at work, Pat can often be found enjoying the great outdoors with his wife and two kids and coaching youth soccer.
