Senior Vice President, Advanced Services, Cisco
As Senior Vice President for Advanced Services, Parvesh Sethi leads Cisco’s multibillion-dollar professional-services organization. In this role, he is responsible for services strategy, delivery, competencies, and portfolio for enterprise, commercial, public-sector, and service-provider customers. His global team of more than 5000 professionals helps customers achieve positive business and technology outcomes through software platforms, infrastructure analytics, and integrated smart solutions. Advanced Services enables Cisco and its partners to help customers receive the full value of their technology investments around the Internet of Everything: Connected Experiences, Cloud and IT Transformation, and Mobility and Service Provider Video solutions. Under his leadership, the organization has consistently achieved profitable growth and high customer satisfaction.
Sethi joined Cisco Services in 2000 and pioneered the technology-practices model, launching consultative practices around Cisco advanced technologies. He was instrumental in leading development of the Advanced Services globalization strategy, establishing innovative delivery centers and integrating software-based capabilities into delivery.
Sethi is the Services Executive Sponsor for Cisco’s Inclusion and Diversity program. Prior to Cisco, Sethi spent 12 years with Ericsson, where he was Vice President of Professional Services and Consulting in the U.S. and held other leadership positions focused primarily on service providers.
Sethi holds a bachelor’s degree in petroleum engineering from Texas A&M University, a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering from the University of Texas at Arlington, and a master’s degree in business administration from the University of Dallas.
