Michelle Ragusa is an 11 year Cisco Veteran, her most recent role being: Global Customer Partner Experience Manager. She is the proud recipient of the “Cisco World Wide Innovation and Growth Award”, as well as recipient of the Cisco Keys to Success: “Best Place to Work Award” for her passion and dedication towards excellence. She was recently recognized by SMB Magazine as one of the 150 most influential people in the global IT Business Community for her work through Advancing Women in IT.
Michelle serves as newly appointed Chair of the Executive Council of Advancing Women in IT for CompTIA. She is also a long standing member of the National Women in Technology Group, where she has given speeches for young women in technology - most recently at NC State University.
"Chic and Geek", she began her career in Cisco in the Global Academy (with a year-long focus in Cisco Sales and Engineering) well versed in technology with CCSE & CCDA networking certification, as well as a history of Sales achievements with the prestigious "Cisco Commitment to Excellence” Award.
Proficient and passionate about community networking and social media, Michelle is a highly visible member of the Global IT community and acts as a connector in multiple areas. She is an avid blogger and uses her passion for women in technology, world travel, health & wellness to create awareness and inspire others.
She is an alumni of Manhattan College, awarded their highest honor of Presidential Scholarship, with a double Major in Global Business and Marketing, and a minor in Peace Studies.
In her free time she enjoys Global Travel, and after visiting 65 countries and 6 continents, she is well on her way to her goal of touching all seven continents and 100 countries (miraculously with two children under two). Michelle is a loving wife, mom to two daughters, and two step daughters, one dog, and one cat. She actively gives back through her volunteer work, leadership, and presentations to inspire young women and girls to #DreamAWIT.
