As director of Cisco’s innovation team in APJC, Michael oversees the co-innovation centers in Singapore, Japan and Australia, as well as programs in India and across the region that support innovation. Michael spent nearly a decade in academia, including serving as the founding managing director of MIT's Legatum Center for Development and Entrepreneurship and as a fellow at Stanford. Michael has run two start-ups [Malltip and Last Mile], founded an NGO in Africa [Global Medical Knowledge], worked on the investment team at Matinda Capital and directed business development for Originate. Michael studied at Harvard and Oxford and has been a term member of the Council on Foreign Relations.
