US Federal SME

Cisco Americas Public Sector

Before joining Cisco in 2016, Michael Hardy covered the US Federal Government as a reporter and editor with Federal Computer Week, Government Computer News and Federal Times. He brings more than a decade of direct experience to his role as content creator and editor, having been a firsthand witness to many watershed federal IT events.

When he's not on the job, you might find him with a book in his hand, playing a ukulele, brewing a batch of beer, attending a concert, watching an envelope-pushing TV show or taking his dog out for a walk. Not all at the same time though.

He lives in Falls Church, Va., with his wife, Lynda, and the aforementioned dog.
