A proven leader, problem solver, and team builder, Michael manages account teams for Cisco's most prominent Public Sector clients. Over his 20-year career in technology he has led teams and initiatives at industry giants IBM, EDS, and Sprint.
Michael graduated from the United States Military Academy at West Point with a BS in Mechanical Engineering & Aerospace Systems and served in the 1st Gulf War as a U.S. Army Air Defense Artillery officer. Following his military service, Michael earned his MBA from the Yale School of Management and has traveled extensively within the European and Asian continents. Currently he.
Five (5) years ago Michael began volunteering to lecture and mentor at NPower's Technology Service Corps, which recruits and trains young people from groups historically underrepresented in technology (including women, minorities, military veterans). Michael was recently named to NPower's National Advisory Council where he joins Cisco CIO Guillermo Diaz, Jr. whom is a board member.
Michael enjoys athletic training and jazz saxophone in his spare time, and resides with his family in northern New Jersey.
