Julia Chen

Global Partner Transformation
Julia Chen is the Vice President of Global Partner Transformation, reporting to Oliver Tuszik, SVP of the Global Partner Organization at Cisco. Julia’s focus on helping our partners thrive with Cisco as we collectively transform helps drive ongoing innovation and business outcome solutions to our portfolio to better serve our customers.
Prior to her current role, Julia spent three years as the Senior Director of Strategy and Technology in the Office of the CEO, where she structured and informed decisions around the company strategy and ran the corporate planning process in partnership with finance. In addition, Julia led special projects, including transformation programs to make Cisco’s operations more efficient; founded Cortex, Cisco’s Machine Learning/AI Virtual Center of Excellence; and accelerated adoption of specific products.
Before Cisco, Julia was a Principal at The Boston Consulting Group and a leader in their Technology, Media & Telecommunications, and Operations practice group. She led teams to support the most senior executives of various enterprise and consumer technology companies as they managed organizational change, increased operational effectiveness, and accelerated business growth. Immediately before joining Cisco, she was the Director of Operations of the Los Angeles office of BCG.
Julia has a Master’s in Computer Engineering from Princeton University, as well as an MBA from Harvard Business School, and a Bachelor of Science in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the University of California - Los Angeles.
Outside of the office, Julia enjoys spending time with her family, traveling, running, swimming, cardio kickboxing.
