Jean Reese is Senior Manager within the Security Research & Operations organization at Cisco. Jean is responsible for the Product Security Incident Response Team (PSIRT) and Security Technology Assessment Team (STAT). Jean also sponsors initiatives with a focus on transparent vulnerability disclosure and enabling customers to better absorb threat and vulnerability data coming from Cisco.
Jean joined Cisco in 2000 after serving in the U.S. Marine Corps and has since held various positions involving critical situation management and security incident response. She has degrees from The Ohio State University and the Naval Postgraduate School. In her “me time”, Jean enjoys swimming, reading mysteries and thrillers, and playing and collecting guitars.
