Harvey Jang is Chief Privacy Officer & Counsel for Cisco. He leads a team of lawyers, privacy professionals, and engineers responsible for developing and orchestrating Cisco’s global data protection policies, compliance capabilities, privacy engineering methodologies, certifications, and accountability frameworks.

He is an instructor for the International Association of Privacy Professionals (IAPP), a member of the Advisory Council for the Centre for Information Policy Leadership (CIPL), and a frequent speaker on topics related to privacy, security, data ethics, and information governance.

Harvey earned his B.A., magna cum laude, from UCLA and his J.D., cum laude, from UC Hastings College of the Law.

He is also a Certified Information Privacy Professional and Fellow of Information Privacy (by IAPP), Certified Information Security Manager (by ISACA), and Certified Information Professional (by AIIM).
