Edan has been a member of Cisco’s Community Relations team for the past two years. He leads global employee engagement programs including Girls Power Tech, Be the Bridge Campaign and works with the functional business units to amplify their give back efforts. He has been working in the social impact space, both in the corporate social responsibility and nonprofit sectors, for over a decade.
Edan’s passion for unique human experiences allowed him to explore over 25 countries and counting. He is a first generation immigrant from the Philippines to the United States, but considers himself a global citizen. He believes that the best way to experience local culture is by eating street food and taking the local public transit. In addition to food and travels, Edan plays volleyball and competes at regional and national volleyball tournaments.
Edan holds a B.A. in Politics and M.A. in Public Affairs from the University of San Francisco.
