Brian Roddy runs the Cloud Security business at Cisco. Brian has more than 20 years of experience in helping build great engineering and operations teams. Brian was the EVP of Engineering of OpenDNS and came to Cisco via its acquisition. Brian previously led the engineering team at Jive Software, a leading SaaS collaboration company.

While at Jive, Brian scaled the company through massive growth in customers and usage as well as through a successful IPO. Brian also was a founder of Reactivity, a web services security company that was acquired by Cisco in 2007.

While at Cisco previously, Brian took over the development of the Application Delivery Business Unit’s suite of products and appliances.

Brian holds a B.S.E. from the University of Pennsylvania and a M.S. from the University of Wisconsin, Madison.
