Ben Munroe is Director of Product Marketing for Cisco Security, responsible for a diverse set of products and solutions including the overall security portfolio and threat-focused products and solutions; previously he lead teams in web and email security, policy and access, service provider security, IOT and cloud security.

Munroe joined Cisco through the Sourcefire acquisition prior to which he held senior management roles in the International Sales & Marketing organization.

In 2014, Munroe moved to San Francisco to run worldwide product marketing for the cloud security practice, focusing on Cloud Web Security and strategic partnerships, and has since built the team to cover multiple architectures.

Prior to Sourcefire, Munroe spent 10 years working for IT and cybersecurity companies including TippingPoint, IBM and SAP.

Prior to that, he worked for bands such as The Rolling Stones and David Bowie and wrote widely on travel, art and culture.
