Andrew Mackay

Andrew leads the Mobile Solution group for Cisco in the APAC region. In his role he supports mobile service providers to develop optimal network architectures for their business requirements. He works closely with the Cisco product development and standards groups as a global thought leader on mobile technology.

For twenty years Andrew has worked in the areas of network engineering, operations, and strategy through four generations of mobile technology. Prior to joining Cisco, Andrew worked for Alcatel-Lucent as Wireless Strategy Director for APAC and before that for Philips Test & Measurement.

He is a Senior Member of IEEE/Communications Society, and holds a first class honours degree in electronic engineering from Canterbury University, New Zealand, and a post-graduate qualification in Business Administration.
