Alex Pujols

Alex Pujols is the Director of Systems Engineering for Cisco’s Global Partner Organization. With a focus to enable digital business, he activates proactive engineering teams that thrive with change as industry evolves.

He is responsible for driving technology strategy within Cisco's key global partnerships, as well as the technical readiness of the global partner engineering community, which is more than 50,000 strong. His deep technical understanding and common-sense approach fuel a unique perspective on technology and how it affects people. This is exemplified in his personal passion for the open-source the Linux community, as both an active contributor and evangelist.

Alex believes continuous learning is the fuel that ignites innovative thinking to drive progress. As an engineer leading engineers, he maintains a number of industry-level accreditations and professional affiliations and works to ensure others expand their knowledge through Cisco programs.

A millennial and futurist, Alex's passions are centered firmly in building technology organizations and guiding others to successfully navigate the ever-changing digital landscape. He engages regularly as a blogger, vlogger, presenter, and collaborator to share his thoughts on myriad technology topics of the day through and travels tirelessly to meet with Cisco partners and industry technology leaders around the world and across industry.

When not feeding his technology passions, Alex finds comfort far away from it. As an avid outdoorsman, Alex believes it’s important to recharge in the quiet seclusion of the Texas outdoors.
