Aeneas Dodd-Noble started his career in telecom in 1999 by helping Tokyo Metallic Communications be the first DSL provider launch services in Japan, which was subsequently bought by Softbank.
Aeneas came to Cisco through the Starent acquisition. He joined Starent in 2002 helping operators roll out and innovate their 3G networks in Japan, Europe and the US. From 2008, Aeneas was one of the key external partners for Verizon Wireless for their 4G network culminating in the LTE North America Award LTE Development by an Individual in 2011.
More recently Aeneas joined the Nephelo team in Cisco as a product manager for the Virtualized Packet Core and the network architect for the Ultra Service Platform which readies the packet core for 5G by separating the control and bearer planes.
